This mold is 2 pieces containing cavities for 6 "bowls", 2 each of 3 different sizes. You fill the cavities with some melted chocolate, press on the top mold, and freeze. You end up with neat chocolate bowls. Mine didn't come out cleanly all the time, and I would have preferred them to all be the same size. I also found them cheaper at my local Michaels and Joann Fabrics shortly after purchasing. An okay product, but not great.

These molds were easy to use and they made great candy melt pops. I had to modify the mold to allow for longer pops by cutting out the ends of the stick holders. The finished product was used for candy bouquets for a baby shower. The mold was a little expensive compared to what other arts and crafts stores are selling candy molds for.

A Bun in the Oven

I run my own business and purchased this mold so that I would have something edible to put my other products in and sell for Valentine's Day.Everyone adores it!The only drawback I have about this product is that it states it is a "large" box. That's just not very true. I believe it does give you the measurements, though. If you map it out to see the dimensions, you won't be surprised when it arrives!I had just a little trouble getting the bottom part of the box out of the mold after the chocolate hardened. Just run the outside of the mold under a little hot water and it pops right out!

The chocolate does not come out of the mold for the bottom half. I tried several times with different greasing techniques, none of them worked. I finally just cut the mold off the chocolate. This left me with only one actual box. On the plus side, the the lid pops out extremely easily and looks beautiful. I ended up making a few lids with different ribbon colors and used them to decorate the gift basket I was sending.

The end product is very beautiful, but with use the inside of the box warps and is difficult to get the end product out. I will say you can use it 2 tops 3 times before it breaks. Also you need an approximately 1 pound of chocolate.
